In 2009 I became a LifeSuccess Consultant (Bob Proctor) and have continued to study EVERYDAY.Īs I continue to grow and study, I became a “Thinking Into Results” certified consultant in February 2017. I immediately immersed myself into the material that Bob proctor was teaching and then came to the understanding that his mentor had told him to study Think and Grow Rich for the rest of his life. In 2006 I was notified that we had become a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame.Īlso in 2006 I was introduced to the material from Bob Proctor. While all of this was going I was, with the help of my team, still producing fabulous results in our real estate business. I started coaching and mentoring agents to help them improve their results, and to do that working fewer hours. In 2004 I wrote my own seminar titled “There is a Magic Pill” and was approved by the state of Ohio for 10 hours of continuing education credit. I was traveling around the country facilitating seminars for a training company (Bill Ayotte seminars) out of Orlando Florida. In 2002 I had the opportunity to realize a dream of mine – to do training, seminar speaking and personal coaching. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO IMPLEMENT the strategies from “Think and Grow Rich.” 1999) I listed 17 houses and went on to complete 92 transactions in my first full year. That first full month in the business (Dec. I not only DID NOT QUIT real estate, I decided that in November of 1999, I would quit my J.O.B. A very nice man in the office I was working out of told me I SHOULD QUIT! I immediately went to work offering free Comparative Market Analysis’ to homeowners through “Cold Calling.” (UGH) I averaged 3 appointments per week with NO production. Then, in 1999, I got my license to practice real estate. I was 31 years old and had absolutely no direction as to where I was going in life.įor the next 3 ½ years I tried everything I knew to try to implement the success strategies from “Think and Grow Rich” but to no avail. I even tried my hand at over-the-road trucking. Prior to meeting this gentleman, I was driving a limo. HE WAS SERIOUS! Since that day, I have read something in that book EVERYDAY! My life has never been the same. My first mentor instructed me to study this book for the rest of my life. Simply put, annotation refers to adding your own thoughts or insights into a book or text.In 1996 I started the process of studying “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. For many of us who have to annotate though (or who love doing so), the question becomes: how to annotate a book so your marks are done quickly and effectively? Here’s how. They can be expensive and it’s hard not to overthink what’s worth writing down. On the other hand, it’s hard to get over the mental block of writing in books. On one hand, highlighting and writing in the margins is a great way to interact with the text and leave a physical reminder of how a book made you feel at a certain point in time. To annotate or not to annotate: that is the age-old question of avid readers.
